Cosemi’s ST02-10x-LC-E incorporates a high-performance vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) designed to meet 10 Gbps data rate requirements and a power monitoring photodiode (PD) that may be utilized for average power control and monitoring, temperature compensation and compliance with Class 1 eye safety limits.
